Hello we had many various irrigation timers that have been battery operated but find the batteries don’t last long so when we come back the plants are either dead or on their way to dying as the battery ran out.  We are now looking for a simple electric one so it’s always connected to the electric supply.  But can’t find one anywhere Le Roy Merlin don’t sell them has anyone got one they can recommend and also where did you get it from thank you

just a thought, but the problem may possibly be with the batteries? We have had a system installed over a year ago and have never changed the battery as it works with no problem.

yes, ours comes on twice a day; it'sthe Gardena one; instructions say 9v alkaline battery - believe that that is the 'box' like one. We actually have 3 x systems for 3 areas with 3 nos controls and no problems - so far - with any one of them.

Good morning,

I was in Leroy merlin the other day and they have electric ones as well as battery operated ones. If I recall correctly it was in the same isle where all the hose connectors are. Not next to the battery operated ones
