Hi,

1. We are finding we are having infrequent support issues at our property which we offer for rentals. Currently we have a satellite box which has failed and needs sorting out urgently for next guests. It is likely plug in PSU that has failed. Does anyone know of anyone offering network support services for holiday lets for small jobs like this or possible bigger problems in the future? We have changeover people but this is not their strength and satellite/internet provider not replying to us.

2. We are also finding when we ask for invoices to pay people most of them say we need to pay and then they will provide an invoice. Some have provided a proforma invoice initially. Is this correct/usual practice?

Any advise appre

Regarding item 2: In no case I would pay any amount w/o a proper commercial accountable invoice. All others stuff sounds to me like money launderung, tax evasion etc.

Hi Pamela

Re sat box - by "failed" do you mean the power won't come on? If so it may just need a new power cable/plug?

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious.

Cheers

Hi, we think it may be the power supply but we were looking for some one who deals with this sort of thing to sort for us as we are in the UK
