Advice on Gran Alacant Properties

Hi All,
Thinking of buying a holiday home in Gran Alacant and would like to know if there are any areas to avoid. Think we would prefer to be on the flat end of Gran Alacant due to the hill. Are there homes that have noise issues because of thin walls etc . Also aware that some communal pools are closed for long periods during the year..what is the general fees for communal areas for owners. Appreciate any information you can share from your experience of owning property in this area
