Hi everyone,
Just like to say a big thanks for those who turned up for our first session of walk football at Santa Pola F.C. stadium outside on astro turf. For the few that had never played on this surface I have had nothing other than praise, No aching joints! We played four 15 minute sessions with a mandatory five minute rest period for intake of fluids. The standard was varied but controlled by the no running rule and the addition of three touch rule stopped anyone dribbling.We ask all of you out there to come along and try it. The session is 10 o'clock every Monday morning just behind the police station in Santa Pola. The intake of fluids continue at a local bar. Come on down and give it a go!!!
