Not sure about cable.
Satellite TV in English (British) is available although a large dish 1.5m (5 foot) dish is needed.
IPTV will give you everything you require, including a hell of a lot of US television/sports etc. I can offer advice via PM if you require or there is lots of providers around, but choose by personal recommendation rather than ads or Facebook posts. A fast & stable broadband connection is required so that may be a pre-requisite in your search.

If there is a telecable office in the area you land up in , they do internet and tv packages with English speaking channels …lots of American & British tv programs …. You can do switch on & off
