Directions to return my rented car from Firefly ?

Hi people when I picked up my car I was given the parking space number and I walked to the car park for the Firefly inside the Airport. It was a very straight forward job. But I have to return it tomorrow and I have realised they gave me no instructions and directions.

Is there a place before the car park where all returning rented car go for inspection first ? Where would that be ? I saw other people coming to drop their cars and rush away to catch their flight when I was in the car park looking for my vehicle and this has confused me. Surely they could not have gone through inspection point and then been allowed to park the car themselves at a risk of causing damage ?

Is there anyone with experience give me an idea of how things work ? Thank you..

Hire companies do not routinely inspect cars on arrival although I suppose you could insist if you had the time to wait around for however long.

They don't want to with the client present when they do as then they can't invent damage and excuses to seize the deposit!

Best ask Firefly directly about where to drop off, it could be in one of the open car parking areas outside the airport proper and then shuttle bus back to the terminal.
