Hi is Guardamar a good place for two girls in there 20s to live. They have looked at Torrevajja and feel it's to big. Is there English family's living there or is it mostly Spainish.what is the nightlife like is it all year round or seasonal.

Thankyou

This really depends on their circumstances and what they want to get out of it. Do they speak Spanish and/or need to work? Do they drive? How long are they looking to stay for? Very generally speaking, resorts north of Torrevieja are smaller, quieter and more Spanish.

Hi , in the winter, spring, autumn months guardamar is very quiet. Can feel like a ghost town. Only at summer when you cannot move.  I would suggest a better area being Quesada, more holiday makers all year round, plus not far from other places.

It depends on whether or not they want to enjoy a Spanish lifestyle. Guardamar has more Spanish living there, with a fairly large brit population, and is a proper Spanish seaside town. It's quieter than Torrevieja, but easily reached for the more lively nightlife.

Quesada is a brit urbanisation and you can go a whole lifetime without hearing a Spanish word spoken, except with a northern accent! It's fine if you want to forget that you're in Spain and just want to enjoy english pubs, beer and fish & chips in the sunshine. It's inland and a 20 minute drive to the sea.

I love living in Quesada and it is not just a 'Brit' urbanisation.  Our neighbours are mostly Dutch, Norwegian and Flemish. I agree you may not hear the Spanish Language but we are within walking distance of Rojales, a lovely town where you will find mainly Spanish speaking people.  I love walking along the river in the warm evenings where you will find the Spanish sitting out and playing dominoes etc.  There are also many bars and restaurants both English and Spanish in the area.    Quesada town has many bars and restaurants so you really have the best of both worlds.  It is an all year round location and it takes us 15 mins to get to the sea. It may not be everyone's cup of tea - but where is!
