My Name is Peter I have many interests. I have very little spoken Spanish so I am looking to meet English or English speaking new friends.
I’ve moved to Guardamar recently and I am looking for the English community in this area can anyone help me please. Any help gratefully received.

I don't think there is much of one any more but if you find out different please let me know. There's a big Engllish community in Quesada.

Hello Peter, Please note that there are two Shamrock Bars, one is at Porta de Tripoli near Plaza Porticada & the other is almost opposite the Bus Station. I hope this helps, Regards, Peter132

Well you learn something every day. I was referring to the Shamrock Bar in Prta del Cairo in my post.
I can’t even remember seeing the other Shamrock Bar you mentioned.
Is it on Carrer Molivent then opposite the school somewhere? They did used to be another Irish bar along there there years ago, but that definitely wasn’t a Shamrock Bar. Does it do food as I can’t seem to find any details on it?
Must have a look when I’m in town for the processions this week.

Hello GrahamLynn, My sincere apologies to you and any other readers - The Irish bar opposite the bus station is called "heaven's door" . It has the Shamrock icon plus the Guinness Harp sign; you are correct in saying that it is in Calle Molivent opposite the school (Institute) It has the word 'cafeteria' under "heaven's door" and I have not been inside for many years. As you said, the Shamrock Bar is at Puerta del Cairo. It is closed tomorrow Tuesday 26th - I am not sure if that applies to every Tuesday? I hope that this clarifies my mistake and I would like to meet you in town if convenient. Regards, Peter 132

It’s in Prta del Cairo, which is the little street between the Chinese and Indian Restaurants, connecting Avinguda de Mediterrani to the Steel Palm Park.
