I am going back to the uk next week but back out again in September for 6 weeks

We are on our way out to Spain next week.

I do know of a society which I will get more details and get back to you.

We may be out in September so maybe we could meet up for a game if you fancy it

Hi,

You will need a fishing licence even to fish off the beach/shore. These can be obtained from one of the two tackle shops in Torrevieja. To find them just google.

I'm not completely sure but there may be a golf society in Quesada , you could also take a look in the Costa Blanca News paper, they publish events that golf society's have taken place, this may give you an idea where to look in your area.

Hey Terry, we have a great little society who play 3 times a week at El Plantio near the airport, guys travel car sharing from La Marina, Catral, Quesada etc as we get guaranteed tee times and its cheap. We have away days but the Plantio course is great, very scenic, run by nice people, let me know if you or anyone is interested and i will let you know more. We could do with more members, usually about 10 or 12 golfers play and we have competitions, mostly Brit retirees, a great bunch, we charge 25 a year and you can get a few bottles of vino for a win or nearest.
