I am thinking of driving my own car down from the UK to Spain with some personal items / luggage.  Appreciate any advice.  Someone said there were a lot of UK right-hand drive cars so that was encouraging. I found renting a car for more than 3 days expensive with insurance (Avis/Budget was good, they advised me well & did not pressure me but still €45 a day).  I would like to come for a week or two next time and possibly visit Madrid.  Eventually may buy a car. 

Started looking at purchasing air conditioning units, Internet connections and TVs - so any tips welcome.

We also used Steve Burkett to put 3 air con units in our Apt. He did an excellent job.

We also used DVLabs at the start of the estate for our Wifi and TV reception. We pay for an 'on when we are there and off when away' connection. It has worked fine so far. No connection problems. We have stayed for 6 weeks and 3 weeks and 2 weeks since we took possession in January.

We also had a storage cupboard built on the patio and up on the Solarium and a sun Awning put up, along with window locks and other electrical work. This was all done by one company, Jans, at the top of the estate. Reasonable competitive prices and all done in one day. I would recommend them.
