We live in a nice Urbanization called Portico Mediterraneo, we are 30 min walk from Guardamar and 30 min walk from La mata but 10 min walk from beautiful beach. There are 2 bus stops very near by the local bus for Guardamar and la mata and the main bus stop will get you to torrevieja,  la zenia, alicante, cartagena etc prime location for us as live in a quiet area but can get to the towns easily if needed.

We bought our house 20 years ago and if sold tomorrow might make a small profit but we have spent thousands on it over all those years. In truth, it has provided us with great joy so well worth the investment. It also costs a lot per year to have it there and to maintain it. It’s a luxury really but if you can afford it , do the same and buy the best you can afford. We too are in the La Mata area and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. 

To keep myself happy during these uneventful days, I watch the SCOTTISH COUPLE on utube walking through Torrevieja and the areas around it. It’s so comforting.  Watched La Mata earlier which in truth looked deserted but that’s this awful lockdown, even do, the sea and  beach were beautiful and sunny and so many people enjoying coffee in the cafes.   More flights cancelled yesterday.
