Electrician recommendation

Hi, I would like a recommendation for an electrician who is registered to certify an upgrade for electricity. We need to upgrade from 3.3.

Hello:
Use Carlos (Electro Carlos), he is in Calle Baleares 12, behind Mercadona. He is really good and not expensive at all. He can do the job for sure.

I do not understand. It sounds completely new to me! I thought that if you want to upgrade the electricity to a higher power you ask your elecricity company to do that. I just did so by asking Iberdrola to move me from 3.3 to 4.5Kw;
Why would you need to hire an electrician and need certification ?

Hi I highly recommend Nik he done ours last year bought all the parts out of his own money and gave us receipts and reasonable costs for doing the work. He is certified electrician and plumber 0034 601640090

This is not answering my question. If the electricity company can do the job remotely why then hire an electrician?
Hi Leon, we recently upgraded from 3.75 to 5.75. Our experience was that In order for the electricity company to do the change in supply they needed a certificate ( called a Boletin) which is supplied by an authorised electrician to show that the fuse boxes and the wiring in the property are in good order and can take the power upgrade. So we used an electrician to manage all this for us including contacting the Iberdrola etc. We also had a fuse upgrade to the box to cope with the upgrade.
