Night Storage Heaters

I am wondering if anyone uses night storage heaters, and what they think of them. I am on 8 hour tariff which gives me cheaper electric for 8 hours of the day this is between 3pm & 11pm, my thinking is to have 1 or 2 running in the living room for 4 hours use that heat as well as the stored heat until I go to bed. I would also have 1 in the bedroom again running for 4 hours and then running that during the night to keep the bedroom warm I am not sure if this is feasible as I do not know how long these units take to charge or how long the hold their heat for. I would therefore be under the assumption that for every 1Kw of heating I use would cost about 9cents/hour plus I would need to increase my power supply which would cost an extra 42€/year/KW, my supply is only 3,45KW which at the moment is adequate and doesn't’t cause any problems. Any views or feedback would be much appreciated
