Hi everyone
We are looking to apply for a non lucrative Spanish visa and wondered if anyone could recommend medical insurance companies as this is required for our application. Also if anyone has any advice on getting this kind of visa that would be great. Many thanks in advance

Hi,
I Don't know your ages but if you are of retirement age you can get healthcare through the S1 healthcare scheme which is paid for by the UK government.

Hi Steve
Thanks for your reply. We are a few years off of state pension age so not entitled to the S1 but i appreciate your help.
We have just changed our health insurance from DKV (not recommended) to ASSSA ( highly recommended).

Hello, we camw over last October on an nlv, but we are pensioners and so have used an S1. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.

Thank you for your reply, we are a few years off UK pension age so will need private medical insurance but thank you for your help.
