Hi all how much money can u legally take with you to spain. What's company would you recommend to transfer money from UK to Spain

I don't think there is a cash limit when you come to Spain although it may be questioned if you bring in a "suitcase" full as it may be viewed as money laundering.
There are many members of this forum, including myself, who use a money transfer company called Wise to transfer money from the UK to a Spanish bank. I've used Wise regularly for 8 years and no complaints.

I also have a Wise account..... I had many problems with Western Union last year, so closed my account, opened one with Wise.com and did overseas transactions to USA & UK at Xmas - it was seamless and fast....great service.

This is an EU question not Spanish.
There is no limit to the money you can carry across EU borders.
EU rules permit you you carry up to 10,000€ without informing anyone, above that you must declare it and prove where it has come from. Even sums under 10,000€ can be questioned though so be prepared to prove where any significant amount has come from if challenged.
Failure to satisfy border authorities that it's legit can result in seizure and confiscation.

We always use Currencies Direct yo transfer money from the UK.

Wise all the way for us, used to be Transferwise 👍
sign up to Currencies Direct uk to currencies direct change to euro at best rate, you in charge drop it into your Spanish bank
