Wise transfers

If I open a wise account can I get my British pensions transferred to it. How?

If you open a wise account they will give you an IBAN number, make sure you either get a UK or EU IBAN number. You then contact your British pension company (or the UK government pension scheme) and tell them you would like it to be paid in to the account with your Wise IBAN number.

I'd recommend a Wise Multi-Currency Account:

Give your UK pension provider the UK IBAN and sort code, which will allow them to send the pension payments to your Wise account. You can then transfer £ to €, via Wise, when you need Euros in Spain, either to your Spanish bank account if you have one, or by cash withdrawals at a Spanish ATM using the Wise card (be aware of withdrawal limits and fees at some ATMS).
Many of us recommend Wise for property owners who are not resident in Spain, as the most efficient way to ditch their expensive Spanish bank accounts.
