Hi,
Various deals abound regarding satellite dishes and costs, some incurring monthly fees.
Can anybody recommend somewhere where I can get a satellite with UK free to air channels for a one off fee without any ongoing charges? Details of costs (if known) would be appreciated.

Freesat, using a "1.4m" satellite dish, offers 150 subscirption free UK TV channels, a 7 day programme guide, and automatic channel updates.
Use a basic free to air box, and you get all the "free to air" channesl, (a few more channels that are not on Freesat like C4HD) , but no 7 day programme guide (just now and next), and no automatic channel updates (a full scan may take 20 mins!)
No subscription required for the free channels.
A subscription is needed for the "pay" channels offered by Sky, BT and Premier.
