Bringing plants from the UK

Can anyone advise on the Spanish law relating to bringing my houseplants to our new home in La Marina? We have been advised that it is strictly not allowed??

I'm not aware of any restriction - after all it's free movement of goods with the EU, although post-Brexit there might be restrictions. As always, I stand to be corrected. I suggest you ask whoever is going to be doing your removal transport.
