I have booked the ferry from Santander to the UK on the 9th Dec as my wife has to return for a hospital appointment. Will we able to drive from Alicante to Santander on the 8th as at the moment travel restrictions are in force until the 9th Dec. Any advice would be appreciated .

Hi John,
I assume you're Non-resident, in which case there is no problem returning to the UK as your country of habitual residence. It would make sense to have proof of UK residence and your wife's medical appointment to hand, in case you're stopped by the police en route.
