Hi. We are Lynne and Nick Champion, 52 and 65. We have just bought a Villa at Calle Aihnoa Arteta. We intend to transport our furniture from the UK in July. We are looking for labour to help out on July 3rd and 4th. Also can anyone recommend a hotel in or very close to La Marina as we'll need somewhere to stay while making the house liveable............can't wait!

Hi there , if you need a decent decorator for your new place im your man with 19 years experience . Also if you need a day to help unload I can do so I also have a friend if needed for any heavy stuff and I've moved a fair few times so can be pretty handy ha ha.

Kind regards

Luke .

P.s If not enjoy your new adventure I've been here 4years and it was the best thing I done for my family and me

Hi Lynne and Nick, my husband and I moved to La Marina late December so we're quite new here. As far as I know there are no Hotels in La Marina. Plenty in Guadamar, Quesada etc. Maybe you could check out La Marina camping. They have bungalows for rent but I would advise booking early as you'll be coming in the summer months and it's a very popular site. There are also villas to rent in the area try Grupovermell.com. Hope this helps and maybe see you in July.

We stayed at Hotel  Montemar in La Marina whilst waiting for completion.

Very comfortable and a good restaurant. The village has lots of amenities.

Best wishes

Tony

Hi Luke, we are looking to have decorating in our villa but mostly external. We are out in Spain in July having furniture delivered and installed. Hopefully we can make contact nearer the date and meet up to discuss requirements. Many thanks Nick and Lynne
