Hi, I'm Mariano and I live in Orihuela Costa. I joined the group a while ago but had nothing to ask. Now I would like to know if it is possible, for Easter, to drive from here to Murcia. Is it still prohibited?

Regards to everybody

Try to find out one of the so many exceptions, i.e. pick up preordered items from IKEA, buy "morcillas murcianas" not available elsewhere, see old handicappd grandpa, copy and print out a parking permit for handicapped, and more.

In short both the Murcia and Valencia borders are still closed until at least after Easter unless travelling for a valid reason, dont think they count IKEA as one of them! Lol!

Hello,

Agree with advise given by Madcatwoman......, the restrictions to include  the Easter period are from 26th March - 9th April

Cheers

What a ridiculous answer to a first time poster.

Hi and welcome, the forum is great for advice on the whole.

My understanding of the situation is that travel outside of the Valenciana region is still prohibited, I keep an eye on this as my Dad is buried about 20 minutes away from me in San Pedro del Pinatar but I am unable to go to visit.

This restriction is in place until after Easter at the earliest.

Regards Sharon
