Hi everyone just a warning about using Union Jack removal company I had the unfortunate opportunity of using them for my big move to Spain in june  quite a number of my items were either damaged or broken this I sadly accepted but they lost one of my kitchen boxes with goods to the value of £200  I've spent the last 3 months phoning and emailing them to be either fobbed off or totally ignored I also  hed an expensive fridge / freezer that worked perfectly well in the UK but never worked again when it reached me in Spain and I actually paid for the privilege of being ripped off to the tune of four thousand four hundred pounds so people beware of Union Jack so called removals and im not the only one

Interesting post. I had planned to use them for my move, had a firm quotation that I had accepted. As my completion date for the sale of my UK property was moving around a little they said no problem but when it fixed they said they would "try to fit me in".  I booked someone else and then the day before my completion they rang me to say they could do it, and got very snotty with me when I said I'd made alternative arrangements.

You must have been one of the lucky ones we were treated really shabbily considering how much we paid

We used Brittania Bradshaw, large well known company in UK, who specialise in overseas removals.

Worst decision we made, when the furniture finally arrived, 6 weeks later, inspite of us being told they deliver to Spain on a weekly basis, and involving the Sales Director, TV screen had clearly been kicked and was useless.

Would not trust them to move anything again.
