Congratulations Annie!  My friend's husband, also 64, received a text yesterday confirming his jabs on the same dates as yours 👍

Yes and I can confirm that I was texted with EXACTLY the same dates yesterday 😁😁

Great news. So happy for you. It’s good to see things are moving in the right direction over there now.

👍

I thought that in Spain they had decided not to give the Astra Zenica vaccine to anyone over 55.  I have friends who are in their 80s and 70s and they have heard nothing about getting their vaccine yet.  I am 67 so am not expecting to get mine until at least June.

Our friends are in San Miguel de salinas and got a call yesterday and received first dose of vaccine with second dose due on 28th April. They are 79 and 74 so hopefully things moving in the right direction. There seems to be a big push this week

Astra Zeneca is for people under 65 in Spain, those over that age will be offered a different type of vaccine.

I was in and vaccinated BEFORE my appointment time as got there a bit early. Then asked to sit down for 10-15 mins afterwards (all chairs set out 2 meters apart) all extremely well organised from beginning to end - they did ask for ID

The gap between 1st and 2nd doses - are you certain that you copied the txt details correctly?

My partner went there for his first dose today and 2nd one is on the 30th June

That's great news.

My husband had his first dose yesterday at La Siesta Clinic.  Second dose 27 April.
