My husband had his first dose yesterday at La Siesta Clinic.  Second dose 27 April.

Was it the Zenica one he had as I think its only that one where its 12 weeks in between doses

Hi Tricia

It appears Spain, like the U.K. are generally going for 12 weeks between doses, with the AZ vaccine. It does not mean however, that you can’t have it earlier. I understand you need to leave at least 3 weeks 🤪🥂

What vaccine was your husband given? I’m assuming it wasn’t Astra Zeneca.

I’m ridiculously excited about it. Crazy but true 🙏

We live in France , were both invited to get the Pfizer last week and our second one is at the end of April. We were super excited too. We have been self isolating / shielding since March 20 . With a negative test and our vaccination certification we hope to get to Spain again in September. We missed last September’s visit and this winter one too. Our children have not been able to visit us in France either . If they manage to come this summer it will be two years since we have seen them . Travel was allowed last summer,  but we and they didn’t think it was safe or wise to travel and look what happened .  France was inundated with visitors and has had to deal with the serious consequences ever since. Let’s hope with everyone vaccinated and with everyone being careful, life can return to near normal. Stay safe everyone! 🍀

Perhaps he had the Pfizer. It’s is recommended to have the second one 3 to 4 weeks later. Ours is a 4 week gap. My dad in the uk had a 3 week gap. Fingers crossed you get yours soon too. 🙏🤞🍀

The second Pfizer one is recommended to be 3 or 4 weeks afterwards. Great news x
