Is this the day 2 test your asking about. If so the Scottish government is only allowing you to use one provider CTM and you book this through the Scotgov Web site at a cost of £88. We arrived back in Glasgow 2 weeks ago and this is the test company we had to use. Hope this helps

We were the same, but friends have pre booked the day 2 test a half the price and put the number in during the filing in the Scottish Locator form.

We booked the official test when we returned in June. At that time 2 tests were required at a cost of £170 per person.

Loads of people hadn't booked the official test and just sailed through border control in Glasgow. I asked the Border Force guy while he was checking our passports and he said there's an approved list of providers you can use even though the Scottish government website says you MUST use CTM. We that follow the rules are being ripped off!! I emailed the Scottish Government and Border Force and got bullshit answers from both.

We know 3 people personally who have booked with Randox (which is now £48) and had no issues at the border.

Guess what we'll be doing next time?
