Dear All

Can anybody please provide advice and information for operating a camp site(RVs, camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes, camper vans and tents) in Spain (with a small camp shop)? Location would be either near the coast or inland.
What licences and permissions are required? How much does this cost? How much are the taxes? Can I buy rural land for caravans to park? What are the running costs? What are the net profits? How much labour is required? What authorities do I need to contact?

All advice and information is warmly welcome.

Hello Kim, assuming that you are already legally resident here, I would suggest that at the very least you would need to consult either an abogado or a Gestor. Without anything else, you would, I imagine, need to register legally as business, with which the Gestor would help. Have you experience of running such a facility in UK,?

In principle you can of course buy rural land, but would have to establish with whichever Ajuntamiento is responsible, what you may actually do with it, there are fairly strict rules over rural land usages.
