Hi All,

Has anybody had problems with private courier services NOT delivering paid orders anywhere in Spain?
What was your solution?

My local post office suggested I paid an extra €30 per year to have an EC number and that should help.
Has anybody added an EC number to their post office address?  Did this help?

All my paid orders never arrive.

Cheers.

What do you mean by 'private courier services'?

With the possible exception of DPD who are linked to Corros virtually all the well known courier services are private entities

In a month typically I'll receive maybe 3 or 4 courier deliveries and with the exception of one which, because of a missed call I had to pick up from a depot in Crevillente, I've never had a problem with any of them.

Hi

If you're trying to order from the UK - then just don't! It's hard to think of anything that can't be ordered from a Spanish/EU company - most obvious example is https://www.amazon.es/?tag=cstareg0f-21

Cheers

Steve

Hi. I have never had any problems with any of there companies. Wouldn't exactly call them "private courier services"???

For over a year now I have always had my parcels delivered to a pickup point in my area, works well, I don´t have to wait at home for deliveries.

You don't mention where the packages you expect are coming from. If it's the UK they can be held up for Customs inspection, and subsequent charges.

I have received packages from Belgium, France, Italy, Portugal and of course Spain with no problems whatsoever.

Obviously I NEVER, since Brexit, order anything from the UK.

Cheers, J

I have totally given up on having parcels delivered to my home address.  I live 6km out of town and delivery drivers can't be bothered to drive out of town.  I have everything delivered to an address in town and everything gets there.  I pay a very modest €1 for the service.

Judging by the amount of stuff that gets delivered there I am not the only one suffering from idle delivery drivers.

So no point getting a number from the post office in the UK then. You have the problem with lots of different companies. Strange.

Cheers, J
