Hope you can help; Where/How do I apply for healthcare via the S1 scheme? I have my residency but I'm not yet state pension age.

Hi,

You cannot apply to join the S1 healthcare scheme until you are receiving the UK government pension. Usually within 3 months of retirement they write to you and include all the necessary information and forms to claim your uk pension. At that time you can ring the Overseas healthcare team and ask for your S1 healthcare forms. They will usually fill the forms in for you over the phone if that's preferable.
