Hi All,
I was wondering if someone could assist me with the following please:
My mum is looking to make an appointment at Torrevieja town hall for the 'Empadronamiento' - once she has done this she will be entitled to the Torrevieja bus pass.
Once she has completed the 'Empadronamiento' process is there any other benefits she will be entitled to? (She will receive her state pension from the UK in October)

Once she starts receiving UK state pension, makes sure she gets her S1 form from the UK DWP or whatever its called these days. She then needs to register herself with the local social security department to access the free Spanish healthcare system, possibly including free prescriptions.

If your mum is a resident & along with her up to date padron she has a TIE card or old residencia , NIE , passport etc she can still apply for a Citizens Card, cost €7

It does include usage as a bus pass but sometimes allows you discount to other places, exhibitions etc in Torrevieja.
Soon , no date set yet, the transport system will change & only Over 65s will get a Gold Card for free travel ( initial cost €4) but there will be different cards that can can be bought for different length durations & at different costs - at the onset of this new service, there will be new buses, new routes & new timetables + the normal fare for anyone without a card or voucher will reduce to €1.35 from the current ..€1.50.
I will renew my Citizens card next month - Aug, so if there is any update to this information at that time, I will post it on here

Bonjour, le dossier empadronamiento, il est rempli on se l’est procuré à l’ayutamentio sans difficulté mais pour prendre RDV pour le déposer ,c’est devenu impossible de les joindre .
Quelle solution , si quelqu’un connaît merci de nous répondre
