Thanks again.

We just checked it out. 1 month next year cheapest price euro 802.

I'm hoping nearer the time the price will reduce.

You will of course get ripped of if you include their insurance which I never do. Buy annual excess cover for around £40

Hello Yes it has gone up but still cheaper and less aggro when you factor in 2 days travelling each way. The ferry, food, fuel, drink accommodation. We only do it when we have the dog now!

Zaragoza-Teruel is not the best option during the winter unless you are prepared to get caught in the snow for a night or two. Instead consider Bilbao-Burgos-Madrid-Albacete-Alicante with no tolls beyond Vitoria. Sorrounding Madrid avoid "R" marked (toll) motorways.

We have done this route several times down to San Javier, no problems. As someone said the weather in Northern Spain in the winter can be bad but having said that they have gritter stations along the motorways.
