Hi Simon
Thanks for coming back to me on the subject. Unfortunately we are looking for somewhere a little more permanent to put down some roots.
I appreciate your good wishes and thank you for getting in touch.
Kind regards
Sue

Hi Jill,
This is not the right time to look for long term rental..... high season! Looking doesn’t cost but your best time would be after the season...... ie. from mid September onwards! As I mentioned before here on that platform...... try Aldertons in Benissa town , bang on in the square located...... try to build a relationship with them & they might be able to point you in the right direction! They are very efficient & helpfully multi lingual! An amazing starting point 👌😊
Good luck

Hi Jill
There are plenty of long term rental properties around, I’ve booked to come over in the next couple of weeks to view several with agents.
Where are you looking?

Oh dear Ste
Do I detect a note of sarcasm there? Totally unnecessary though because there are plenty around if you know where to look.

Sue, sorry if you misunderstood my well wishes..... it was utterly sincerely meant! 😊
I don’t know you to be sarcastic...... not even in a jokingly way!

That’s ok Steffa, thank you for letting me know.
Just to let you know that since I first started looking for properties, I have discovered after a lot of time and effort that the properties are there and that properties that will be coming available when the summer season ends are being advertised now.
I hope this lady gets back to me to let me know where she’s been looking so that I can point her in the right direction. I fear if she waits until the season ends she will be facing competition from dozens of likeminded people wanting to rent.
I hope you’re enjoying your new life in Spain.
Kindest regards
Sue

Hello Chewy
I'm currently looking for long term rentals from July into 2021, I've looked at varied sites but thought it was worth asking where you looked (to be sure I'm not missing anywhere - idealista/think spain/varied estate agents!
We are coming out at end of April to have a look around the marina alta (we stayed in Calpe before and know we like the area). We are torn between the inland option (probably Orba/Jalon) or more coastal Javea down to Calpe.
Thanks for any insight you can pass on.
Regards
Jill
Hi Jill
Put a general Google search in for ‘long term rentals in Moraira’. I found that looking on the web at estate agents sites was a waste of time as there seemed very little to look at.
There are lots of freelance agents advertising and they desperately want to find something for you. You need to look on a daily basis and I know there are some 3 bed new build properties in Calpe with parking etc because they keep sending them to me but I’ve just deleted them (sorry).
Keep looking because after I wrote to you last time we got a beautiful 3 bed property 100 yards from the beach in Moraira. You will get something so don’t despair.
I’ll send you anything I think might be useful.
Good luck
Sue x
