Its a wedding invitation a document not a item or produce. Handmade by my lovely niece who I have not seen for two years due to covid, so do I refuse to pay and not accept the card. Its very insensitive to say do not send cards from UK, why not, we did before brexit with no problems.

Hi i buy lot of things from Aliexpress and i don't pay tax or duty on them, most things come from China or Hong Kong

As I understand it the EU has a deal with China so things bought via AliExpress are ok.I recently bought a rug from India and had to pay €40 tax and had to pay the delivery driver.I knew there would be tax to pay was just unsure of the exact amount.

Brexit, but you live in Spain not the UK, where you chose to live,
I don't buy or have anything delivered from the UK. Family and Friends can send money through Wise to your bank for very little charge for a treat. I send flowers and chocolates for Birthdays and Christmas through Bunches. I use Amazon.es for buying goods and Ali Express for other goods with no postal charges. The more you live in Spain the more you find different ways of running your life.

I have sent cards to spain from the UK at Christmas. I filled out a customers form . Said it was a gift and the cost of the card was £2.25. My friend in Spain paid no vat or tax .

After Brexit the UK became a third country, ie the same as Australia. Therefore mail coming to Spain from UK should be treated the same as mail coming from Australia. I hope you now understand.
