My wife and I are in the final stages of our house purchase and our solicitor in Spain is asking for my bank account number and sort code so it can be put on title deeds to prove the money is not laundered.
Can anyone tell me if this is a standard practice?

Can anyone tell me if this is a standard practice?

Mine did checks to see where the money had come from but it originated from a variety of accounts before been put together for the final transfer. I had to show them where it had all come from but none of my bank details are on my deeds (I have just looked). The deeds do include details of my lawyers holding account where the money I treansferred to them was finally transferred from.
