Hi,has anyone renewed for years 2/3 without a Spanish bank account? I have Wise for bills and Revolut for day today spending.I am being advised to open bank account to prove I am here and spending 🤷♀️ time m sure Revolut print out can prove I’m here TIA

I haven't gone through this process but a quick search online does not indicate that a spanish bank account is necessary.

Hi,
We have just had our year 2 and 3 renewal accepted for the NLV and no Spanish bank account needed .

My wife and I are on Year 3 of our NLV and we don’t have a Spanish bank account. We a have a Revolut card for fee free cash withdrawals but never used. UK NatWest Bank transfers pays rent and PayPal Friends and Family pays for Spanish lessons. Everything else goes on a Halifax Ckarity Visa card
