Making deposit to buy property in Orihuela Costa Banks

When you open the account inform the bank that you will be depositing money into the account to make a house purchase, they will then record this information on their records. Also ask them what the largest single transaction you can make without incurring fees, the banks here charge you for putting money into your own account.

If the limit is say 50k, you need to make multiple transfers to avoid charges.

but My main important Question when I make deposit to my new Spanish account from my local bank account , is Spanish bank account start to be funny and ask for lots of documents ? its my money from my bank so what their problem I mean ?  or they don't care as long as money come from my bank account under my name ?

I understand your concerns, but lots of people have to transfer a large sum of money into  a bank account, for the same reason of purchasing property. I would guess that 50% of foreigners opening bank accounts in Spain within the first month, deposit a huge sum and withdraw it in that period.  The banks will be able to verify it’s a house purchase when you ask for a bankers draft to complete your purchase.

When you open your account you will need an NIE number, but you’ll need that for your house purchase. You will also need proof of identity, passport etc.

Yes they will ask you questions, but only in relation to finding out what type of account is best for you.

Different banks have different accounts, so you could get cheaper banker if you deposit a certain sum in per quarter, eg a regular pension payment.

My bank account gave me free banking as long as I made a total of 10 payments per year - that’s easily done as you pay your electric my monthly direct debit 

Again tell them you are purchasing a property and ask them to give you a fixed fee for raising the bank draft
