This has probably been asked before but which is the cheapest 2 and 8 test to buy as I fly to UK on Saturday and have my antigen test booked for Friday but need to book the 2 and 8 test now and I'm a bit lost. I'm flying on my own for the first time and quite anxious that I have everything in place thank in advance for any replies to help an extremely nervous woman lol

I booked my tests on line with

Randox Health and paid £86 for the two tests when quoting code Easyjet2021 but not sure if you have to be flying with EasyJet to get the discount, I guess you do.The discount is 10% so even without the discount they are competitively priced I think. I had excellent service and results the day after I sent them off. I just booked them on line before I left Spain, got an email back immediately with the code needed for the locator form. I appreciate some forum members have not had the same level of service that I received. I also booked the day 5 test and paid £43 for it.

It was a nose and throat swab at home. It was a month ago so maybe they have put their prices up!

Hi Tricia,

If you're flying with Ryanair, they also offer a discount code for Randox tests:

https://www.ryanair.com/gb/en/Randox

https://www.easyjet.com/en/covid-19-travel-hub/covid-19-testing-providers

You can also book via the Gov.UK website.  However, many providers listed have been heavily criticised for their advertised 'headline' prices, only to find that when you get to the point of paying, delivery costs more than double the price of some tests:

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-to-england-from-another-country-during-coronavirus-covid-19

Kind regards,

Kim
