There is a 10pm curfew in Valencia region so leave time to return home if out.

Whilst the opening hours have been extended for bars and restaurants check the time of last orders for food and drink.

I am just coming up to the age where I will receive my state pension , at the moment I have a works pension so have been living off savings! My works pension is sent to an English bank every month! Can anyone advise me if it is worth sending pensions every month to Spain? Will I loose a lot of money! I am now a resident and bank with Sabadell.

Hola Biff,

I think you have posted your question into the wrong discussion.

Think you should move it into it’s own topic and you should receive the advice you require.

All the best. Rosemary.

We receive our OAP each month in our Spanish bank, no charge but check with your own bank. The amount is worked on an average of the pound to the euro exchange rate over the month. Just go on to Works and Pensions site and you will find the details there.

Hope this helped with your decision.

Diane
