I suggest you take an antigen test within 48 hours of your flight just to be on the safe side.

You shouldn’t have any issues with that and your status.

There is absolutely no requirement for anyone who is fully jabbed and had a booster(as in the case of RDS1234)  to take a test for entry to Spain. ……………yet

Still awaiting a BOE for entry requirements from 1st Feb.

Can you take flight on 31st January instead ?

ie before new rule comes in.

Thats tomorrow and it’s too soon.  Besides I’m going back to London then travelling back to Madrid to get my flight to Miami and back home to Grand Cayman.

Hi Lynn, did you read the BOE I forwarded to you a couple of days ago? That stated the entry rules from Feb 1st, another copy attached.

Hi,

If you don't have an update COVID cert from February 1st , you can enter Spain with an Negative COVID test timed and dated no more than 24 hours of your arrival date and time.

Hi Bruno,

Where can I get legal confirmation of this please?

My understanding is that this is not the case.

I’d like to take as many documents as I can get my hands on to the check-in just in case they refuse me to fly.

Many thanks

Elena

Hi Elena,

a link on Gov UK takes you to the Spanish Ministry of Health website that has a list of exemptions for travellers that are not fully vaccinated.

As Elinspain mentioned in a earlier post a possible exemption that could be allow you to gain entry is - H. Persons traveling for duly accredited imperative family reasons. If you can use this reason to gain entry you have to take either a PCR type test. 72 hours before travel or a antigen test 24 hours before travel (and obviously test negative for covid).

You have probably already looked at Gov UK but if not the link is - https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/spain/entry-requirements

What I cannot find on the Spanish website is what is considered to be "a duly accredited imperative family reason" .

Hello

I did look for an explanation  of that at the time I posted but found bits on various websites. Putting it together it was  something like this......

"Official recognition or something that meets official standards &       of vital importance"   Of course you would need proof - probably in spanish) for border force officers.

Cheers

Elinspain

Hi all, I am hopefully travelling to Spain on 4 Feb to see family and I am not considered fully vaccinated as my second injection was more than 270 days before the travel date and I didn't have the booster yet.

I am British, however my father is Spanish and I believe there is a strict no entry policy for non EU residents who are not fully vaccinated after 1 Feb but there are exemptions if for example you are travelling to see immediate family.  ...

...

Ibera were very unhelpful in providing me with guidance about this and im terrified that I will not be allowed to take the flight.

Has anyone else had this concern and what did you do if anything?  Im taking my birth certificate with me.

Thanks.

Apologies for the strange reply, I have deleted it now and warned that member
