Hi, we live in Cabo Roig and I've applied for my partners S1 from Newcastle 3 times now the first being 3 months ago and the last 3 weeks ago and they're just not arriving, ive asked if they can send it in a pdf file so I can print it out but they can't. Time is running out before Brexit and this is the last thing to do. I know Orihuela is quite bad for mail but this is ridiculous, any ideas as to how I can solve this please

We had the same problem, seems we were using the address we thought was correct rather than the address as shown on the map at city hall, which is what Correos uses.

We were baffled why we only ever got utility bills, that was because they use the correct address format. We live on an Urbanisation, and were using the Urbanisation name and the phase we live in which was just complicating everything.

Now our address is the road name, the mail drop number and the casa number no Urbanisation or phase details needed.

Hope this helps, I understand how stressful these situations can be when we don't understand the systems.

We’ve taken all the stress out of receiving any post by using the Post Shop in Villamartin. Martin there is amazing. He takes all our parcels and letters and is always in so no problems of someone not being there and because it’s a business if he’s shut the couriers always seem to return the next day. It’s the best 80 euros a year I’ve ever spent. Most of our post arrives in a week from the UK. One caveat would be I’m not sure if a UK government department would accept a post shop address but can’t see why not if it was a care of. Hope that helps.
