Absolutely nothing. Its really no different than the UK. Electric prices have doubled and before the cap just set was due to go up again twice in the next 6 months. Basically someone is making a lot of money off the war in the Ukraine in all countries.

Sorry dazza70. Just to be clear the doubled price and price cap I was talking about was the UK. However mine here in Spain is no 0.18 per KWH consumption and this other tax thing is 0.12 per KWH extra. It takes effect from when you renew your contract.

Yes it's a levy. It is charged per kwh of consumption at 0.12 per kw at the moment.
