English speaking lawyer to make our wills

If you go to a lawyer you will be charged in excess of 300 euro per will. If you go straight to a notary who has templates for wills which they adapt to your particular circumstances it will be less that 100 euro with about 20 or so for an English translation.

There is a poster on here for Thy Will Be Done which does the same thing and charges 99 euro including a translation. Avoid a solicitor. They are a UK run company and can take your instructions by phone or email.

Same with tax advice. I don't know of any tax advisor in your particular area but we have quite a few who do that and have English speakers and charge a lot less than a solicitor would do. I'm sure there will some in your area and hope someone can advise you.

I've been doing my own tax returns since living here for the past six years. Happy to give you advice but can't guarantee being able to answer all your questions, it will depend on how complicated your tax affairs are.

My partner and I had our Spanish wills done by a bi-lingual notary service in Algorfa recommended to us. If you don't want to go that far, try the notary in the centre of Pego, they are helpful but not sure how bi-lingual they are.
