I will be in Pego for 6 months and would be delighted to meet new friends with similar interests. Are there any social activities in the area I should consider? I love walking, cycling eating out, wine tasting, the beach, live music, and most outdoor activities. My passion is travel and I will be exploring the Costa Blanca with a view to identifying the best place for me to buy a retirement home.

Hi there,  Have you considered joining the U3A in Oliva? https://u3aoliva.wildapricot.org/

We are moving to the area in December and we will be looking at joining this group once we have sorted ourselves out. Good luck.

Hi, Maninkilt, I am in proces to get a key from my new appartman in Pego. I have heard about a lot of activitites in this area, that is the reason I have decided to spend my retirement in Pego. I hope, I will join to U3A in Oliva and can find a lots of friends there, am very aktive in walking, a bit in tennis, dogs, swimming, cooking.  Do you know http://cbmwalkers.org/ ? Try to join to them, perhaps... , and write us your experiences. Thanks, Erika

Hi Erika,

My post was written some time ago. However I am returning to Oliva on Thursday 26th April. My email is [email protected]. We can be in contact via that address. Where are you in Pego?

Isaac
