Hi Lenco

You can get the odd issues due to atmospherics, but if you have been away it could be the dish is off point, or 1.8 could be your LNB has a lodger it happens. 40e Gets you you a visit and usally sorted.

Heat and humidity can cause a drop in signals getting to your dish (happens every summer so nothing new), noticeable on the weaker signal channels, but which will be even more noticeable if your dish is not of the correct size for where you are, or if it (and the LNB) is not aligned correct, or if you have bad cabling (cable left in the sun will deteriorate and crack, and then will let in water, reducing the signals), or even a baked LNB...

Hello

Insects like to live in the LNB.... they crawl up the tube causing a loss of signal.  Use a soft cotton bud on a stick to remove them.  Best of luck!
