Arrival restrictions at Alicante

I have some friends coming into Alicante airport. Can I meet them as normal at arrivals ?

Yes you can travel and meet at Alicante but not in the usual place. There are guards at the usual internal passenger exit point that will move you on and I understand they direct arriving passengers that appear to meeting someone to the ground floor (coach park)
If you know the airport well my advice would be to pre-arrange an outside area you both know for meeting/collection. The ground floor coach park is probably the easiest as you can park in the multi-storey on the same floor. (loads of space) I did it last week.
There are very few people in and around so its unlikely you will get lost.

You can wait in the car park pay station area on the 4th floor, just across the footbridge. Thats the nearest you can get to the arrivals hall.

Thank you very much, I guessed there would be some problem but at least now I can inform my friends where I will be.

There are very few people in and around so its unlikely you will get lost.
I was at the Airport this morning ( 01/11/2020 ) to collect a friend arriving off a flight and was able to pick them up as usual in the drop off zone opposite Costa Coffee, everything working as normal but with masks on.
