Hi Wendy.  Thanks for the message.  Have added you to the list of those interested.  Hoping to get a coffee/meeting together next week to see what everyone wants from this idea. Back to you soon. B :-)

Hello

I would love to be included in your plans to get this going.

I asked about a walking group locally a few months ago but there was no reply to my post. I am a member of another walking group in Spain but have never been as its too far away and they meet about 9 00 am. I don't live in Campoverde but have a holiday home and visit a few times a year and I am next out on 11th March so hopefully see you then.

Thank you and good luck!

Angela

Hola everyone.  I have now put out a message to the residents in Campoverde that we could meet up this Thursday or Friday at 16.00 for a chat and a coffee at Bar Sangria on what I call the Boulevard, the street that runs parallel to the main road from Pilar de la Horadada. Looks like a small amount of folk are available on both days, so I will be there for both.  I also will be in Pilar on Thursday, leaving town at 15.30, so if there is anyone who does not have transport at the moment, I can pick them up (meet in the Square outside the Tabacos near the church 5- 10 mins beforehand), and of course drop them off after the get together (maximum 4 - so contact me privately to confirm you need a lift). Hasta luego.  B :-)

Hi Angela.   Not sure if I responded to your message.  We are having a couple of meetings this week to start talking about what folk want from this possible walking group.  I will be putting out more information once we have looked at the options.  So hopefully you will see the update here.  If not, please contact me personally next week.  B.

Hello all.  Some of us met last week and have started to organise ourselves with the hope of doing our first walk on Tuesday 7th April.  I will check the Rio Seco for access, but have another idea if this is not suitable at the moment. Suggest we meet at 09.30 in the Spar car park at the beginning of Campoverde.  I have started putting a FB page together 'The Campoverde Walking Group', so more information can be found there. If you are interested to join for even occasional walks, please request access via the website. Look forward to meeting you.

Hi Chica,

Just seen a post on your walking group which I would be interested in joining. I’m based in la Zenia but not there permanently, usually there on average about 2 weeks in every month depending on work. I’m not on Facebook but shall keep an eye on the forum for upcoming dates and contact details. At the moment I should be ok for the first walk on 7th April but things might change for me. I’ll keep an eye out and hopefully make that first one. Regards

Chris.

Hi Chris.  Thanks for your interest.  I did set up the FB page so that I could stop using several other platforms to make contact with interested folk, and give out updates from one place.  So will soon stop using this forum.  Hope you can follow us on FB, and look forward to seeing you on the 7th if you are here ;-)
