We have recently signed up with p&ntv and are having loads of problems.  It stalls quite a lot and we have lost the whole lot now a couple of times.  Very frustrating as at this time of year we do spend time watching.  Does anyone else have any problems or solutions?  Maggie

Hi Maggie, yes we too are having problems with our world vision tele box, it is something to do with the ping being too high, evidently it should be within 20/30, lower even better. After doing numerous speed tests, our ping is rarely below 69/75 and much higher, hopefully PNTV will be able to do something about it, so watch this space, I will let you know.

We have been with them a year now and were happy until November last year. Suffered with slow speeds down from paid for 8mb to as slow as 1mb. The engineer came out and said the variable speed was caused by the movement of a crane between our antenna and the transmitter they use. The angle of the crane now apparently determines our speed.

The issue with wireless broadband is that speeds can be limited (compared to fibre broadband) and constrained by external factors like weather, cranes etc. You need a consistent and fast speed to get reliable TV and even 8Mbps cannot guarantee a reliable TV service and you get pixilation etc. My suggestion is to take advantage of the fibre broadband that is now available within Campoverde. You will get higher speed (minimum 30Mbps download) for similar cost to much slower wireless broadband, plus the reliability is much better. I have used this fibre broadband in Campoverde and am very happy with it. You can then decide which TV service you want to use on top of that. Hope that helps.

Fibre doesnt cover the whole of campoverde as yet, just the new part and even then not all areas. Might i suggest switching to san pedro wifi also known as flexa networks, their capabilities are far more superior even than that of tv horadada. They are able to offer u 30meg which is far more than sufficient. They know exactly how to manage the internet they supply which is a rare thing in this field.
