Unfortunately we have been let down by an electrician and I am wondering if anyone else has had this experience and can help?

I used Charles Pritchett from CAP Electrical who came to upgrade our electricity.

However he did not provide us with the CIE certificate and it’s causing us issues.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Does anyone know how I can get hold of Charles, I know he lives in Quesada.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

We paid him in full and unfortunately he didn’t fullfill the work!

Such a shame as at first I thought he was a nice guy!

Hi Sue,

If you don't get a response from this forum, you could try Costa Blanca's sister forum, Talk Quesada - as you know Charles Pritchett lives in Quesada, other TQ members may also have used his services and know how to contact him:

https://www.talkquesada.com/

Good luck!

Kind regards,

Kim

If he's not properly Spanish qualified and registered then he won't be able to issue the paperwork you need and shouldn't be working as an electrician in the first place.

Did you ask about those things before employing him?

Not finding a business called Cap Electrical on Google BTW, only result  was back from March 2021 on Talk Quesada. Neither are good signs.

Where did you find him, do you even know it's his real name?

All very 'iffy'. Sounds like he may need denouncing to the police.

Our neighbour in Pinar is an Electrician  it is called Volts electrical.  I am not in Pinar at the moment but I believe he is on Facebook.  I will try and find his number and get back to you.
