How to use Amazon in Spain?

when in UK I search order and receive items from Amazon based upon my account set up and preferred payment method; when in Spain do I need to set up a completely new account?

Clearly I don’t want to be having goods shipped by UK suppliers

I also want to be able to search for items readily available in Spain but using the English language viewing pages on Amazon website

My Spanish address would need to be used to receive delivery and my Sabadell account for the payments

could someone please advise how this is / could be done / set up

thanks

Just use amazon.es. I use chrome browser which automatically translates web pages.

No need for a different account. Just add your card to your payment methods and your Spanish address to your address books. If you use the Amazon app you can change it to the Spanish store but it is in Spanish. If that’s a problem, go to Amazon.es on a Google browser and it will translate the pages.

Whilst you are setting up your Amazon.es account, I would suggest you also set up one for Amazon.de. You use the same log in and password for all your Amazon accounts, just need to enter address and card details as previously advised.

Amazon.de has an English option so you don’t need to use your browser to translate.

Spain haven’t got the same choice as the U.K. site, so having a look at the German site will give you a few more options.

Also be aware that Amazon can and quite frequently deliver up to 10 pm.

Also they have an extremely useful delivery option, where they will deliver to a contracted local business, You will be sent an email when the item is waiting for you and you normally have a week in which to collect it. I find it invaluable being miles out in the campo where delivery drivers dare not venture!

I agree with Lynn, definitely worth looking at Amazon.de.  I´ve often found the same products, especially electrical items, much cheaper than Amazon.es, even factoring in higher delivery charges.  Also, the product guarantee is still valid because both countries are in the EU.

Not necessarily Kim. I have bought dvds from Germany which they have organised via UK and been stung for customs charges etc
