Thanks for that. I logged onto Lobster yesterday to order a SIM Card but they will only post out to a Spanish address. Currently we are in the UK and with EE and having to pay £6.70/mth for only 100 mins to call Spain which as you know isn't that much when you are dealing with Lawyers, Tax People, Developers etc etc hence the option of Lobster looked attractive.

We are back there on 11/2/23 so we may well pick up a SIM Card from one of their agents in Pinoso - I believe they have them in the Foreign Exchange there.

I've been with lobster for some time and I always find them very helpful 😌 

Once you get your head around the fact that most of most things that are set up automatically with other providers, have to be set up manually with Lobster, then the , package and price are good. I’m on the smallest plan.

But I’ve had to ask Lobster how to set up many things and you don’t normally get an instant reply.

Fortunately you can usually Google your answers.

But I’ve had to manually set up, my data settings, voicemail, roaming and using my phone as a hotspot. Once set up everything is fine and everything then works automatically, but you only realise these things aren’t set up when you want to use them as Darro said earlier.

The only annoying thing is the text message they send you at 2am  to advise your plan has been extended for another 28 days.

Hi I didn't know how to do something and rang lobster and the lady talked me through it all very helpful and patient luckily I've never had a problem with them good luck 👍

Just out of interest are you coming to Spain on a Non Lucrative Visa?

If so how was the process and current criteria?

We have had Lobster for over 2 years, we went from the middle package to the small one which still offers more than enough data.

Our only complaint has been that we cannot call Italy, although usually Whatsapp gets around this. Lots of people in Italy still have just a fixed line or do not use whatsapp etc. Unfortunately it is difficult to call Lobster from abroad if you cannot log onto the foreign network. We always take another cell with a minimum Masmovil sim which has no roaming probs whatever in Europe to call Lobster. Write down the Lobster Network settings etc on a piece of paper and slip it in between your protective cover and the casing so you always have it. It has happened to us here in Spain on Lobster that a software update has cancelled these settings and we had no network connection.  That was with Sony and Redmi phones on different occasions!  Quickly corrected by putting in the operator settings again.

My wife has the smallest Lobster package and she is very pleased with it.
