I am moving to Pinoso soon and need advice as to renting an apartment and traveling back and forth from Alacante daily or on weekends. Im Americano and will be there for many months.

Alicante-Pinoso is a 1,5 hr. ride on a partial tricky road, and finding housing takes it´s time. Property agents will offer objects which may not necessarioly exist and ask for a "reservation fee" or similar. That money will be gone forever. I live for the last 40 years in a nice multinational expat community near Fortuna and have travelled NY state, NJ, DC, FL, OH, MI, AL,GA, NV, UT, CA, AZ, also the Caribbean and South America. You will need a lot of time and patience, nothing is what it seems at first sight. Lots of luck.

I live very near Pinoso and it’s a great little town. Alicante is about 40 minutes by car if you use the A31. It can be busy at times, like the morning and lunch commute, but there are other routes which might take a little longer but are fine. As for renting, I’m aware that there isn’t much about in the town but if you join all the local forums through Facebook, that’s where you’re likely to see anything that does become available. As for buying, there are some good realtors in the town, most of whom speak English. Good luck with your search.

Yep, he is negative on everything that’s posted, never gives good advice, and encourages people to ignore rules & regulations and flout the law.
The only constructive post he ever posts is “ Contact Moller SAT/Clima next to what was Iceland - phone 9669 111 522” for him to praise their services means he’s either got friends or family working there, or gets a commission on every referral that they get!
Ignore his negativity at all times!!
